Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) held an awareness workshop for Qatari athletes participating in the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, which will take place in Japan from 19 September to 4 October, as part of the ongoing preparations for Team Qatar’s participation in the continental sporting event.
The workshop covered a range of organisational and awareness-related topics.
Team Qatar’s administrative delegation presented key information about the Games and highlighted the main instructions and regulations issued by the Olympic Council of Asia. The workshop also saw the launch of the Mirqab Platform, designed to provide sports federations with easy access to the latest updates and information related to participation in the Games.
The Qatar Anti-Doping Agency also delivered an awareness presentation covering anti-doping matters and the key requirements athletes are expected to observe.

Also, the Team Qatar’s media delegation conducted a workshop on dealing with the media during the Games, the importance of athletes’ media presence, and the effective and responsible use of their digital platforms in a manner that reflects a positive image of Qatari sport.
